Should reps & dems sit together at the state of the union speech?

is there too much outward partisanship in the crowd? dems standing & applauding on one side, reps smirking and scowling on the other side. does the whole event reinforce partisanship? if they were mixed together in a new seating arrangement would it help at least with appearances of getting along?
