Why did Jesus have to catch some fish before ascending into heaven?

I don't recall nothing about catching fish in that period, but in all recordings Jesus bring prove he is not a spirit or demon , but that he has a true body. The most common proof is letting Thomas and others touch Him, and eating fish and bread with them.
